Start measuring with Frez.
Quick answers
Does buying Frez Dyno include the paid app features?+
No. Frez Dyno and the Frez App subscription are separate products. Start with the free features and see how much value they provide. Choose a subscription only when you need deeper analysis and premium features that keep improving over time.
Why are the device and app subscription separate?+
We keep the device price as low as possible so more people can try Frez without too much friction, and we do not aim to build the business around large profits from hardware sales. We also plan to keep core features such as measurement and recording free whenever possible. At the same time, the app is a service that requires servers, reliability improvements, new analysis features, ongoing maintenance, and customer support. We chose the app subscription model so we can keep improving that service and provide it reliably for a long time. Frez is not trying to simply sell a device and stop there. Our direction is to keep improving the user experience through better features and continuous updates, and to build an ecosystem where that value returns to everyone who uses Frez.
Dyno is not showing up in the app. What should I do?+
Check that Dyno is charged and powered on. Turn on Bluetooth, keep Dyno close to your phone, and if it still does not appear, restart the app and the device once.
The numbers look off. How do I fix them?+
Run zero/tare again with no force applied before measuring. Also check that the strap or Portable Platform is not moving, then repeat the test in the same position.
Do I need Portable Platform?+
No. You can run many tests with Frez Dyno alone. Portable Platform helps when you want a more stable, repeatable floor-based setup.
